The CREDAI - Nagpur Metro, earlier known as the Nag Vidarbha Builders Association, was formed in
the year 1998. since formation, the Association is working for Promoting the Builder's activity
in the region and is striving to solve the problems & remove hurdles in the path of working of
the Builders.
The Association represents the Builders in the region at National level through it's affiliation
to State Level Body CREDAI - Maharashtra & National level body 'CREDAI'. The present name
CREDAI-Nagpur Metro was adopted in the year 2011 so as to rightly represent the area of working
of the Association.
The association keeps Co-ordination with the various department concerned with the builders
activity such as Town Planning, TP & Valuation, NMC, NIT, NMRDA, MADC, Revenue, Nazul, City
Survey, MSEDCL etc. and keeps track of the latest information about the new policies connected
with the Business.
The Association foresees the difficulties that may arise in future and always tries to find the
solution to the problems.
The 'Association' has laid down a 'Code of Conduct' for its members, which helps in self
governance & achieving Fair Business Practice, Smoother Customer's Relationship and Protection
from Undue Harrassment from the customer. Following of Code of Conduct is also helpful in
Creating Goodwill & Business Promotion. Every member has to sign a memorandum to this effect at
the time of awarding the membership.
The Association has formed a "Consumer Grievances Redressal Cell" which helps in reducing the
disputes between the Builder and the Purchaser and helps in strengthening the Builder - Customer
relationship.
In a nutshell, it can be said that the Association is striving for the well being of the
Builders' Industry.
Also, CREDAI Nagpur Metro is appointed by MahaRERA on Reconciliation Bench. The Reconciliation
bench have been formed in the backdrop of MahaRERA receiving many complaints and looking to
create a filter. This body can be approached by homebuyers and builders for reaching a
consensus, thus leaving only matters that cannot be resolved for MahaRERA's intervention.
